The brand that invigorated the men's magazines market in 1994 has been refreshed and rejuvenated by Editor Martin Daubney to reflect the changing needs of men's magazine buyers more than a decade on. Aimed at 16-30 year-old-men, Loaded presents the edited highlights of a young man's interests and aspirations: football, cars, grooming, gorgeous women and gaming in clearly signposted sections.

Loaded Shoots Radioactive Wolves
In May 2005 Loaded Editor Martin Daubney flew to Chernobyl, to hunt radioactive wolves deep inside the dead zone. Other Loaded 'big stories' include competing in the Redneck Olympics in Georgia, shooting and killing our own alligator boots and joining Thailand's body collectors in Bangkok.
Eaten by a Hippo

Hollywood pin-up and movie actress Carmen Electra was Loaded’s March 2006 cover star. Other cover stars include UK stars Abi Titmuss, Jennifer Ellison, Kelly Brook and Keeley Hazell. In 2000, Loaded broke the Guinness World Record for the number of covers printed for the same magazine, selling 100 different options in one issue!

If it's dangerous, risky or downright scary you can bet your life that Jeff Maysh has been there, done it, and got the bruises. Fighting Australian gypsies in the outback, dodging bulls dressed as a clown, sleeping rough on the streets of LA and surviving on a deserted Fijian island is all part of the job for Loaded's Senior Staff Writer, whose passport is as knackered as Michael Palin’s. As well as risking his life on a monthly basis, Jeff has interviewed some of the world's sexiest women, including cover stars Carmen Electra, Jennifer Ellison and Keeley Hazell. But it's football legend Pele that was Jeff's favourite interviewee: "He was like God," says Maysh, "only with really, really small feet."

GRIN AND BEAR IT
It didn’t take long for the Loaded lifestyle to leave its mark on Jamie. Literally – weeks into the job he was nursing a claw gash the size of an elephant’s smile on his thigh – the result of wrestling a 650lb black bear in Ohio. “You don’t see that in other mags,” Fullerton says, proudly showing off the scars. “Or articles about vomit-therapy rehab, body collecting or skydiving with dogs, for that matter!” While not travelling the globe looking for new ways to narrowly escape death, Jamie spends his days interviewing celebrities and going on the lash with top rock bands. "But I’m still all about the bears, though," he admits.
