Forget all your other Nazi-bashing games to date, the latest in this fine wartime FPS series is the best yet. It's set around the Normandy breakout of 1944 (the bit between the Normandy landings and the Allies establishing a proper foothold in France), and it's both beautiful-looking and chaotically fast. Highlights include searching bombed out French buildings for German snipers, and coming face to face with desperate, knife-wielding die-hards. The game is gritty and realistic, with amazing sound and properly intelligent enemy AI, which keeps the tension at bowel-loosening levels. WW2 was never so intense, or so much fun.
