Brilliant WW2 shooter goes all mode

Have a crack at the al-Qaeda in a storyline that sees you playing as an SAS chap and a US Marine and which takes in non-specific Middle Eastern hell holes.
In In addition to the familiar FPS gameplay there's also sections of CoD 4 where you fire from choppers and even – and this is truly brilliant – wipe out terrorists from gunships with 'smart' bombs. The 'white heat' satellite-style graphics look so good, you'll think you're watching CNN.
In The playground of bombed-out cities makes for a claustrophobic, visceral and slightly unnerving experience and the game engine's capacity for intense action and carnage will make you a wee bit scared. Not us, though. That's where special ops training kicks in, naturally.
Where this game really kicks in soldier is in multiplayer, suit up with your teammates and go to war. Featuring the usual Capture the flag and Free-for-all modes earn your stripes by shootin' your way to the top.
