You can't mess with EA's colossus-like Tiger Woods golf franchise but you can certainly try and do something different with the old stick, ball and hole game. ProStroke Golf is more Sergio Garcia – technically efficient with a cocky swagger. The three-point stroking has been replaced with a smooth-as swoosh through the analogue, which is supposed to give you a "so real you can smell the doo-doo in the bunker" golf experience.
The course creator's a nice touch, although it doesn't mention here if you can place windmills or clowns' faces around the green to add a drop of fun to proceedings.
