It's here at last. If, somehow, you've managed to bag yourself a Wii already, you might want to check out one of the best of its launch releases – Ubisoft's devastatingly good Yakuza shooter/slicer Red Steel. Using the Wii's clever, if arm-aching, Nunchuk dual control system, you can fight your way through hoardes of rival Yakuza using guns and Samurai swords to save your girlfriend and her powerful gang boss dad. The sword fighting is particularly awesome – you swing the controllers just like a sword, and when you've defeated your enemy you can choose to finish the job or show mercy. It's all in first-person perspective, and once you get used to using the Wii-mote thingy to control your direction it feels intuitive and immersive. Just don't overdo it, you need your right arm for summat else.
