Tarantino's breakthrough classic gets strained down into a half-decent sub-Driver shoot'n'shunt actioner. Michael Madsen obviously has plans to upgrade his summer residence's tennis courts, because here he comes, mumbling his way through a game that roughly follows the movie's plot.

You can't go wrong with some of the set pieces, but Quentin's original, stylish ice-cold, über violence has been woefully misinterpreted into fan boy misogyny that comes across as being downright nasty. The 'yoot' will love it, then. Incidentally, it was banned in Australia.
